Prasanta Talukdar, Deputy General Manager (Investment)
Prasanta leads the Investment Team at NVCL. He has more than 25 years of combined experience across equity investments and consulting in the developmental sector, including projects assisted by multilateral funding agencies such as ADB and KfW.
Prior to joining NEDFi, he was associated with SMEC, a multinational consulting firm known for its technical excellence and sustainable infrastructure solutions aimed at generating economic growth and delivering essential services in some of the world's fastest-growing economies. He holds a Master's Degree in Agricultural Statistics from Assam Agricultural University.
Mrirani Sarmah, Deputy General Manager (Legal)
Mrirani looks after the Legal aspect of NVCL. She has 24 years of experience in documentation for Equity and Debt Instruments, Legal Litigation and Arbitration, and Corporate Law.
She has a Master's Degree in Commerce and Bachelor's Degree in Law from Guwahati University. She is also a qualified CS (intern).
Zaveer Zaman, Assistant General Manager
Zaveer looks after Investments at NVCL. He has more than 17 years of combined experience in Equity and Debt Funding across sectors, primarily in the North Eastern Region.
He has a Master's Degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Finance) from Tezpur University, Assam, and a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Commerce from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Mr. Siddhartha Lahkar, Manager
Siddhartha is a part of the Investment Team at NVCL. He has more than 12 years of combined experience in the field of Equity and Debt Funding. He also has experience in general administration.
Prior to joining NEDFi, he worked as a Production Engineer in the Flexible Laminate Industry, in the field of production planning and execution.
He has a Master's Degree in Business Administration (Finance and Human Resource) and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation). He is also an NISM certified Alternative Investment Manager.
Nickson Sharma, Associate
Nickson is an Investment Associate at NVCL, with over 10 years of combined experience across the entrepreneurial landscape in India's startup ecosystem.
Prior to NVCL, he worked with 91Springboard, Startup Tunnel, and Tracxn, gaining a 360-degree view of the startup journey, from incubation to funding to growth.
He holds an MBA from Amity University, California State University and Birkbeck, University of London, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from VTU, Karnataka.
Gaurav Barick, Associate
Gaurav has nearly 10 years of experience in Scheme Management, Venture Capital, empirical research and financial analysis across Public and Private Sector organizations.
He holds a B.Sc. and an MBA in Finance, with a strong foundation in financial management and research. His experience includes scheme implementation, investment assessment, stakeholder coordination and analytical assignments. He is also an NISM certified Alternative Investment Manager.
